Joey Cape Of Lagwagon
http://www.myspace.com/joeycape
The man himself the legend of punk rock, one below fat mike. The lead vocalist from legends LAGWAGON is coming to town with hair spiked and Gatorade & vodka in tow, expect all the hits as well as solo album material and maybe even some Bad Astronaut for good measure.
After being on tours with the greatest in punk rock history ( NOFX, BAD RELIGION, AFI, PENNYWISE and then some..) and playing in acts such as ME FIRST AND THE GIMMIE GIMMIES, LAGWAGON, AFTERBURNER & BAD ASTRONAUT this is a night not to be missed!
And now After many years of fronting influential punk band LagwagonJoey Capereleased his first full length solo acoustic albumBridgein October 2008. Drawing inspiration from the candle lit emotion of Kill Rock Stars era Elliott Smith and an upbringing steeped in acoustic acts such as Simon & Garfunkel and Cat Stevens; Cape’s acoustic efforts stand up on their own and finally introduce him as a promising addition to the pantheon of great American singer-songwriters.
Tony Sly Of No Use For A Name
http://www.myspace.com/tonyslymusic
If that wasn't enough another of FATWRECKCHORDS greatest exports will be in town! Mr Sly lead vocalist and songwriter from pop punk rock heroes NO USE FOR A NAME, after the historical Split CD with joey cape himself back in 2004 it makes perfect sense for a healthy addition to this night we may even see some duo's?
He is currently tucked away writing his 1st solo full length record so expect great songs from the split CD plus more surprises!
Jon SnodGrass Of Drag The River
http://www.myspace.com/jonsnodgrass
This man needs no introduction always a huge part of the infamous Revival tour in the USA featuring CHUCK RAGAN, MIKE HALE, AUSTIN LUCAS, BEN NICHOLS and more.
He brings he blend of country punk rock to Southampton via Suburban Home records.
Since the premature dissolution of Drag the River in late 2007, Jon Snodgrass has continued to do what he has always done: write and record great music. His full length 10 track (plus the entire album over again as 1 track with alternate versions of nearly every song) album is some of Jon’s greatest work. You might think you know what this album sounds like, but I think it might surprise you a bit. The album incorporates the hard-edged rock you expect from Armchair Martian with the more rootsy sounds you might expect to hear with Drag the River and the resulting album is an album I have no problem calling a masterpiece.
